Efficient Business Processes

• Manage all the equipment and services of the Data Centre

• Ensure that all systems are up and running as per SLA

• Maintain a secure computing environment though secure configuration, patching and monitoring

• Put in place a centralised log monitoring and threat management system

• Maintain Firewall rules

• Setup and maintain servers

• System Patching, Harden Operating Systems

• Put in place automated system monitoring tools

• Take ownership and ensure completion of adhoc projects within agreed upon timelines

• Stay abreast of all new technological innovations and how can be applied to the benefit of business

Business Continuity

• Setup and manage the Disaster Recovery Site

• Setup backup and replication to Disaster Recovery Site

Vendor Management

• Liaise with suppliers and service providers for procurement and maintenance of equipment

Compliance

• Work closely with IT security team to maintain yearly certification of ISO 27001/FFIEC and PCI DSS

People

• Manage and lead the system administration team

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in IT or

CCNA/MCSE and or CISSP

Technical Skills

Microsoft Windows Server administration

Linux Server administration

Cisco Skills

Virtualisation technologies (VMware / HyperV)

Analytical Skills

Project Management Skills

Managerial Skills

Experience

5-7 years’ experience in server administration and IT security
