Medine Limited (Agriculture) is looking for a motivated and dynamic candidate for the post of Customer Service Assistant.
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner; determine purpose of callers and forward calls to appropriate personnel and departments.
- Answer inquiries and provide a variety of information as and when needed.
- Perform basic administrative duties (filing, fix appointments, organise meetings and lunch, stationery ordering and distribution, etc.) in a timely manner.
- Receive incoming and outgoing couriers.
- Process front desk deliveries.
- Deliver cheques from the Accounts Department to concerned individuals.
- Greet walk-in visitors and determine the nature and purpose of their visit.
- Maintain data logs regarding incoming calls and daily visitors.
- Be responsible for the conference room bookings, cancellations, maintenance and ensure proper cleanliness.
- Assist in the monthly payroll processing through the input of overtime and leaves taken for permanent and contractual/seasonal workers under Management, Accounting, Purchasing and HR department.
- Maintain records and filing systems for payroll in a confidential manner.
- Process payments for the MA department on a monthly basis (e.g: invoices for sanitary bins, sundries etc.)
- Replace the secretary when she is out of office and provide efficient and professional secretarial services to the Managing Director.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to Accounts department as and when required.
Candidate Profile
- A Higher School Certificate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Computer literate
- Outgoing personality with good organisational, interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Assertive and confident
- Can do attitude
