Casela World of Adventures is looking for highly-motivated candidate on a full-time basis as Cost Controller
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for costing, monitoring all food and beverage and general Stocks to provide accurate and timely cost figures for operations.
- Review and monitor all general expense as per set budget for all departments.
- Monitor and report menu engineering.
- Analyse all food and beverage costs on a monthly basis and making recommendation of alternatives on cost savings.
- Prepare and analyse Food and Beverages costs on a monthly basis and recommend alternatives to improve costs.
- Review purchasing procedures for all F&B items
- Conduct spot checks in various departments to ensure procedures are adhered to.
- Participate in month end reporting procedures in relation to stock.
- Coordinate with F&B Department and Finance Department to sort out issues pertaining to Food and Beverages.
- Continuously monitor controls implemented at the restaurant and kitchen and recommend for improvements.
- Reconcile all inventory accounts based on actual purchases and actual inventory stock take and allocate the expenses to the respective department based on their requisitions.
- Ensure that accurate cost data is available for preparation of cost reports.
- Perform any other cognate duties as may be required.
Candidate’s Profile:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Cost Control function in hotel industry
- understanding of the basic accounting functions and strong analytical and numerical skills
- Possess advanced knowledge in Excel
- Able to work under pressure
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible to work long hours when required
- Honest, hard worker with high professional ethic.
