We are currently looking for Cisco Network Engineers to work on our global VPN network present in more than 160 countries
Responsibilities
Perform implementation and maintenance on CISCO, Juniper, IPANENA and other devices.
Accepts, validates and prepares all IP configuration changes on VPN routers present in all around the world.
Act as the Customer’s point of contact during change implementations.
Ensures that the Customer-requested change in the network set-up does not affect the integrity of the whole VPN.
Ensures that the configuration databases are properly updated
Provides 24/7 incident management support for complex IP related problems.
The VPO is responsible for maintaining detailed documentation describing the VPN’s specific services and explaining how the VPN is implemented and functioning.
Performs pre-sales VPN consultancy for existing customers (low level network design, technical due diligence assessment, operational feasibility) to ensure that the customer's VPN remains manageable, scalable and stable.
Customer VPN Problem Management (proactive support to the IP related problems and, interface with CISCO where required)
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in IT / Computer Science/ Telecommunication / Electronics or any other Engineering degree
CCNA certification level required
CCIP / CCNP / CCNP SP certification level desirable
Working experience in the IT/Networking sector
Knowledge on data communication technologies, routing and other protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, RIP, BGP and IPSEC.
Knowledge on networking technologies such as DSL and Metro Ethernet.
Good network troubleshooting skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in both English and French
Flexible to work on shifts (24/7)
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent reasoning and problem solving skills
