Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, a leading international player in marine services, is looking for a Chief Accountant.

 

Our client, a leading international player in marine services, is looking for a Chief Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all accounting related activities from developing and maintaining accounting processes and procedures up to delivery timely and accurate reports, and team management.
 
Main responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control inputs in Oracle modules (AP/AR/GL/FA).
  • Monthly Closing and cost control report (Magnitude).
  • Intragroup reconciliation (ICS).
  • Accounts dully justified and monthly revaluation.
  • Implement accounting processes and ensure field monitoring.
  • Manage and support accounting team.
  • Declare VAT tax according to standard.
  • Participate in ensuring compliance with local taxes and GAAPS.

Qualification:

  • You have a High education in Finance or in Business Management.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience as Chief Accountant in a multinational company performing operations linked with foreign currencies transactions; knowledge of Marine Industry and/ or oil and gas industry will be a plus.

Candidate profile:

  • Excellent controlling competences and are highly meticulous.
  • Extremely organized and you interact, produce and report with a professional approach at all times.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, prioritize matters and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to work independently and be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office/ Excel skills; Oracle; BI System; EDM;
  • A perfect command of French and English is mandatory.
