We are actually searching for an experienced Business Unit Manager with high leadership skills.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • 5-8 years of experience in a similar position
  • Degree holder or equivalent qualifications
  • Proactive and result-oriented
  • Customer oriented
  • Computer Literate (Word/ Excel/ Powerpoint)
  • Proven experience in People Management
  • Good communication skills
  • Valid driving licence essential
  • Strong leadership skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To manage the operation of Emcar tyres
  • To manage the operations of the company and develop increasing growth opportunities in line with the company’s vision and objectives.
  • To be responsible for planning and policy-making including both long term strategies and day to day functions.
  • To generate sales in order to achieve maximum profitability against annual sales target.
  • To maximise income-generating opportunities identifying new line of business, accessories and services.
  • To improve services provided to customers.
  • Visit Important Clients on a regular basis.
  • To assess progress of sales, as compared to targets and recommend appropriate remedial measures and effective forward planning actions.
  • To oversee and supervise all functions including ordering of products, receiving of products, monitoring of stock movement, regular inventory control and interim quality checks.
  • To plan and supervise work of subordinates, delegate effectively, and coach employees towards the attainment of organisational goals and objectives.
  • To establish training, development and motivation programmes for the staff in close collaboration with the Human Resources Department with a view to increase staff motivation and commitment and to maximise performance at all levels.
  • To demonstrate the appropriate leadership styles and strategies to motivate and empower employees through periods of organisational growth or change.
  • To ensure that the Company complies with all Occupational Health & Safety measures and statutory rules and regulations.
  • To plan and prepare annual budget and monitor monthly progress accordingly.
  • To ensure compliance with all legal provisions governing the business unit.
  • To perform any other cognate duties as may be required.

 SHORT TERM OBJECTIVE:-

  • Improvement of Cash Flow through decrease of stock, debtors and increase of Sales
  • Improvement in stock management should be a priority
