Bartender (CB)

Our Client is seeking to recruit a Bartender for its operation in Seychelles Island

Responsibilities:

. Welcome all hotel guests in the bar and ensure that they get efficient service

. Responsible for the day to day running of the bar and to provide a reliable and efficient beverage service to all guests

. Attend daily meeting before each service

. Provide efficient and courteous service to all guests

. Prepare condiments for service and other service equipments

. Keep good contact with clients during service and note any compliments or comments

. Assist in ensuring adequate supplies, minimum breakage, proper use a dn maintenance of all equipment and furniture

. Assist in conducting monthly stock take of all bar operational stock

. Suggest and promote daily cocktail specials and any specials of the day

. Use up selling techniques whenever the opportunity arises

. Ensure that licensing laws are complied with and if in doubt contact the Resident Manager or Duty Manager

. Ensure that the price lists are clean and in good condition

. Attends meetings as directed

. Maintain an effective working relationship with all hotel departments

. Inspect the bar prior to opening and check on cleanliness and bar settings

. Dispense beverage in a responsible manner

. Ensure that all lights are switched off after the closure of the bar

Profile:

. Qualification in Hotel and Hospitality Studies or of the equivalent

. Have a minimum of 2 years experience of bartending experience

. Fluency in a third language is an advantage

. Experienced and well versed in hotel software packages

. Good communication skills

. Have good interpersonal skills

. Have unquestionable discretion

. Customer care skills and experience

. Self motivated, professional, courteous and an enthusiastic team player
