Our Client is seeking to recruit a Bar Supervisor for its operation in Seychelles Island
Responsibilities:
. Manage and control the bar orders to par stock levels as per set procedures of the hotel
. Supervise and check receipt of orders
. Check and maintain bar stock levels including spirits, wines, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and tobacco
. Ensure that the measures are correct and are being utilized correctly
. Ensure the reconciliation of payments and where there are discrepancies liaise with the Restaurant Manager towards finding a solution
. Supervise the management of empties to avoid wastage, loss and maintain the appropriate level of stock
. Manage and set the staff duty roster and time sheets
. Set and supervise staff daily duties
. Ensure that the bar is well maintained and kept clean at all times
. Oversee the bar area and ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order
. Cascade down to staff of new beverage brands whether on promotion with staff and of any new cocktails introduced to the bar
. To keep staff level within the staff budget of the section and as set by the hotel
Profile:
. Qualification in Hotel and Hospitality Studies or of the equivalent
. At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
. Fluency in a third language is an advantage
. Experienced and well versed in hotel software packages
. Customer Care skills and experience
. Self-motivated, professional, courteous and an enthusiastic team player
. Maintain an organized and neat work environment
