MAIN FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN FUNCTION:
Responsible to deliver zero defect quality service on mechanical repairs as per Supplier and Leal & Co Ltd standard.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To ensure clear understanding of information and work instructions and liaise with Team Leader, Foreman and/or Workshop Supervisor for any clarification in case of doubt.
- To ensure that all parts dismantled on the vehicle are displayed on Trolleys and Shelves and take maximum precautions with Customer Vehicle during repairs to avoid any risk of damage.
- To liaise with the Service Admin Clerk to prepare Parts Requests and/or Authorisation for Repairs as requested by the Team Leader.
- To collect Parts from Store and ensure that Parts delivered correspond with the exact description and quantity on the Parts Requests.
- To follow work instructions and information and perform diagnostic and fault finding operations.
- To ensure that all repairs requested by the customer and instructions provided by the Team Leader are being efficiently followed.
- To ensure that old/faulty parts to be returned back to customer are kept in the vehicle and properly packed in plastic bag.
- To report to Team Leaders, Foreman and/or Workshop Supervisor for any anomaly or any additional works identified during repairs affecting the customer's security.
- To perform proper verification upon completion of repairs to ensure customer request has been efficiently tackled as well as carrying out a general visual inspection of the vehicle.
EXPERIENCE
- At least SC
- A Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Mechanic
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
