To issue materials to end users in a timely manner and in compliance with operating procedures and standards.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensures that goods received are of the same quality and quantity ordered, reports cases of non-delivery and sub-standard deliveries to the Assistant Financial Controller and Purchase Officer.
- Inspects all incoming materials and verifies quantity with purchase order.
- Stores all received materials in its designated locations
- Receives store requisitions and ensures that all issues are made against requisitions, and that no items leave the storeroom without the appropriate approval signature
- Performs the filing of all store issues and good receipt notes.
- Carry out inventories when required.
- Control Stock and maintain the re-ordering level.
- Abide by our Quality Systems and Standards (BRC/ISO/SMETA)
- To ensure that all outgoing stock items tally with relative customer orders, in terms of description, quantity and quality
- To be responsible for the optimization of space within the warehouse to accommodate incoming products
- To ensure good housekeeping of the warehouse
- Any cognate duties as may be assigned by management.
Profile:
- Higher School Certificate
- Certificate in Stores management will be an advantage
- At least 2 years experience in a similar position
- Service-oriented attitude
- IT literate & good knowledge of MS Office
- Organized, independent and able to work as a team member
- Flexible / Polyvalent
- Able to work odd hours and under pressure
- Detailed oriented and meticulous
