LUX* Resorts & Hotels is hiring for the position of Assistant Restaurant Manager for LUX* Grand Gaube.

 

 The successful candidate will be responsible to:                                                      

1) Provide strong support and assistance to the Restaurant Manager in order to ensure the proper management of the outlet and its Team Members.                                                                                                                                                        

2) Oversee the proper implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures of the Outlet at all times.                                

3) Communicate with Guests as well as ensure that service quality standards and Guest satisfaction are maintained.                                                                                    

4) Monitor the order taking processes and ensure the timely service of foods and drinks.    

 

QUALIFICATIONS

1) At least Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
2) National Certificate Level 4 or 5 in Restaurant Operations or equivalent qualifications.
3) Tertiary education at Advanced Certificate or Diploma level majoring in Hospitality Management from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications.

 

EXPERIENCE:

1) A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the hospitality industry. 
2) A minimum of 2 years of working experience as Assistant Restaurant Manager /Outlet Manager in a 4 or 5 Star Resort.

7)Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines. 
8) A keen eye for detail.
9)Excellent written and communication skills in both English and French languages. A third language would be a definite advantage. 
10)Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Package. 
11) Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends as well as on Public Holidays.
12) Valid Food Handlers’ Certificate.
