The Assistant F&B Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Food and Beverages outlets, providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure the food and beverage operations achieve its goals.

 

The Assistant F&B Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Food and Beverages outlets, providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure the food and beverage operations achieve its goals.
  • Provide a professional, advisory and executive support service to the F&B Director and assist him in meeting the strategic goals of the establishment in the areas of Food and Beverages.
  • Comply with the hotel’s code of conduct at all times within both, the immediate and external environment. Establish effective employee relations and maintain the highest professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, executive colleagues and employees.
  • Develop and implement Food and Beverage promotions, strategies and special events.
  • Handle Food and Beverage complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implement control procedures to minimise errors, frauds and waste.
  • Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs including food, beverages, supply, utility and labour costs.
  • Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
  • Supervise closely Beverage costs in collaboration with the Cost Controller to guarantee a cost according to the financial targets.
  • Monitor price increases and ensure prices to be adjusted accordingly.
  • Manage beverage stock in service as required.
  • Improve and maintain beverage sales and profitability.
  • Control bar processes including par levels, finances and beverage menu selection.
  • Plan, supervise and allocate the day-to-day operational activities of the bar.
  • Ensure detailed inventory in all Outlets and control in accordance with FIFO and HACCP standards.
