Airport Operative

Reporting to the JUHI Airport Depot Manager, the potential candidate will be based at our airport depot in Plaisance, Grand Port.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure that product received is within specifications by referring to relevant documentation
• Carry out appropriate product quality control checks upon receipt of product
• Perform tanks dipping and control tests as per JUHI Quality Control and Operation Manual standards.
• Drain tanks and filters daily and report any abnormality without delay
• Unload Jet A-1 bowsers in compliance with JIG Guidelines for Offloading
• Assist mechanics in the regular test and preventive maintenance program as per JIG guidelines and company procedures
• Operate to the highest standards of safety in accordance with Total HSEQ rules and report any anomaly

 Requirements

•  Ability to read and understand repair manuals and instructions
• Technical qualification will be an advantage
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the mechanical field
• Clean and valid private vehicle driving license
• Willing to work on a shift system
• Proven ability of being a good team player
