Duties & Responsibilities –
• Acknowledge receipt of vehicle from customers in the garage.
• Ensure that all vehicles have their Job Cards before any intervention.
• Prepare the scanning sheet per job card and per occupation to be given to the garage
employees before starting each tasks,
• Fill in the Work Load White Board by putting the name of the worker per task, Registration
Number of vehicle and time allocated per task.
• Inform the appropriate parties in advance about any expected delay in delivery.
• Ensure that interventions are done according to pre-established planning, standards and norms
within the scheduled time frame.
• Ensure interventions off-site are done, as and when necessary (even after normal working hours
and/or week-ends/public holidays.
• Ensure that Road test vehicles before and / or after repairs are undertaken.
• Perform all clerical duties of the garage including preparation of invoices.
• Stock Control.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
•A Higher School Certificate or any other qualifications acceptable to Management.
•At least 5 years experience in a similar position and in a mechanical workshop.
•Must be able to work under strict deadlines and deliverables.
•Well -versed with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
•Strong personality with excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English and French.
•Excellent organisational and leadership skills and ability to work on multiple tasks Should be creative, proactive, resourceful and demonstrate professionalism.
•Be dynamic and with a ‘Can Do’ attitude.
