The HR Officer is responsible for leading the HR programs and policies as they apply to employee relations, compensation, benefits, safety, performance and staffing levels in an Offshore Company at Ebene.

 

Job description

  • Develop and implement Human Resources objectives in line with the organisational strategies.
  • Comply with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
  • Direct the process of organisational planning, job design, and resources forecasting throughout the company, in the fast pace environment, and make recommendations to executive management.
  • Lead competitive pay and benefit market research to establish best pay practices and maintain the effectiveness of the company’s salary and benefit structure, pay policies, maintain employee retention and oversee the variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and raises.
  • Ensure equal opportunity employment programs and lead the recruitment and selection process and promoting internal career development.
  • Advising the Managing Director on HR and Admistrative compliance.

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Good HSC and /or degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce. (required)
  • At least 3-7 years experience in an HR role (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of Employment Rights Act 2008 and International HR Laws and Acts
  • Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel & Outlook) Experience (beneficial)
  • Candidates who have been worknig in Offshore sector will gain an advantage.

Skills and Personal Attributes

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute in a professional and collaborative way to a team
  • Knowledge of contemporary IT including word processing, email, spreadsheet,database and similar disciples
  • Demonstrate high level of oral communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage the flow of people and business, liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding sensitive and confidential matters and maintain effective working relationships in a high volume environment.
  • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, tact, discretion, initiative and sound judgement
  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to determine priorities, meet regular deadlines and take/follow up action
  • Must be a highly reliable individual
