Responsible for the accounting department and manage and control fundings, cash flow, budgets, cost and related fiscal tasks.
The position is a temporary contract with possibility of conversion to a permanent position.

Main Responsibilities:
- Delivery of timely monthly Financial Reporting, quarterly/half yearly reports and year end accounts
- Ensures that all financial deadlines are met;
- Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded in company books;
- Resolve accounting discrepancies, errors and irregularities;
- Initiating Purchase Orders and payment transactions for supplier invoices
- Preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Treasury and cash flow management for local entities
- Liaison with External Auditors and Banks
- Ensure clear and precise procedures and controls are in place
- Ensure statutory and tax compliance with local authorities
- Assist on Treasury and Payroll duties as and when needed;
- Participate in Group projects and adhoc duties e.g. office management.
Qualification:
- ACCA qualified
- At least 2-3 years of experience in the accounting sector
- Proven experience in working in a computerised accounting environment
Candidate profile:
- Good written and spoken English and French
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, administration and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and be proactive
- Time management skills
- Good IT knowledge & advanced skills in Microsoft office
- Proficiency in using Accounting Software.
- Willing to work odd hours based on the exigencies of the work;
