Accountant

Our client, a technological and driven service provider, is looking for an Accountant. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly management accounts and other reports as requested by management
• Preparation of annual accounts for management purposes and in accordance with IAS and IFRS for filing with regulators
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Preparation and filling of annual/quarterly tax returns
• Preparation of monthly cash flow forecast
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly budget
• Manage cash position of the company, accounts receivables and accounts payables
• Review and prepare FSC remittances upon request
• Liaise and handle queries from within and outside the company

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years’ experience
• ACCA qualified or equivalent
• Strong leadership skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Fluent in English and French
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook
• Previous experience on Quickbooks would be an advantage
