ACCOUNTANT

SAFYR UTILIS LTD is recruiting for one of its clients, an internal group founded in 1982 with Headquarters in Switzerland, and strategic geographical footprint in the Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Telecom, Construction, Mining and Power industries in 60 different countries:-

A Mauritian accountant with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience, based in Mauritius, to help prepare the financial reporting of the Nigerian subsidiary for the Swiss Headquarters of the group.

Accountant

Under the supervision of the senior accountant

Transactions

1. Bookkeeping: general and AP & AR transactions into ERP
2. Bank and petty cash reconciliation (in liaise with local Administration Manager)
3. Compile data and prepare a variety of report
4. Investigate questionable data
5. Reconcile intercompany accounts with the Group companies

Reporting to HQ and Third Party

1. Preparation of financial report
2. Assist the Senior Accountant in preparation of financial report

Compliance

Skills

Language: English, French a plus
Proficiency in IFRS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
Experience with computerized ledger system
Self-motivation and attention to details
Ability to function in a multi-cultural environment (Swiss company / Nigerian subsidiary)
Requires at least 3 years’ experience in general accounting
