DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Assist HODs in recruitment and ensure that the recruitment process is done in a fair manner
-Ensure strict follow up on probation period and end of contracts
-Actively work on standardization of working conditions
-Liaise with Labour office and workers Union whenever necessary
-Work on several HR projects to improve HR services
-Act as Back up to the Payroll Officer for relevant payroll checks
-Implement and follow up Employee’s Recognition Programs
-Analyse monthly HR Report, Turnover Report and Variance Report
-Assists the Director of HR in all disciplinary related issues
-Ensure all staff maintain high standard of discipline in order to maximize productivity.
-Chairs and Coordinates committees related to sports / social events.
-Prepares and coordinates the yearly employee activities program and calendar
-Maintain effective internal communication with all employees
-Ensure Exit interviews are conducted before staff leaves the Hotel.
-Ensure the colleague’s restaurant offers excellent service and quality of food to staff members
-Assist the Director of Human resources on a day-to-day basis on some specific HR duties.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
-Degree in Human resources, Social Sciences or Psychology from a recognized institution
-4 years of experience in HR field and at least 1 year in Management position
-Extensive Knowledge of Employment Rights act and Catering Remuneration order
-Experience in hotel sector would be a definite advantage
