Alentaris is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the Fuel distribution, is looking for a Finance Manager for Nairobi.

Responsibilities:

. To develop and manage sound financial system and reporting to support management decisions.  
. Lead the section and compliance of each mission.
. Control liquidity and mission to optimize profitability.
. Business analytics for tenders and business unit review processes
.Manage the outsourced contractor utilising KPI and other management tools
. Review financial reports to ensure compliance to Financial Reporting standards
. Prepare department budget and review the consolidated budgets for approval
. Liaise with IT department to continuously improve existing accounting and reporting systems
. Coach and monitor performance to identify gaps and recommend approproate development
. Review the audit file and resolves issues arising out of audit
. Develop and maintain relationships with the banks and financial institutions to ensure beneficial strategic opportunities are obtained

Profile:
.  Bachelor degree and or professional chartered accounting qualification (ACCA or ACA Fully qualified)
. 8 years experience in a SME organisation in position of Financial Controller, Chief Accountant or other senior role
. Sound understanding of IFRS 
. Chartered Accountant
. SAP or equivalent experience
