Alentaris is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the Fuel distribution, is looking for a Senior Accountant for DRC.

Responsibilities:
. To develop and manage sound financial system and reporting to support management decisions
. Maintain and record books of accounting and to manage outsourced contractors
. Review financial reports to ensure compliance to Financial Reporting standards
. Prepare mission budget and review the consolidated budgets for approval
. Control and manage costs within budget to contribute to the achievement of budgetary goals
. Liaise with IT department to continuously improve existing accounting and reporting systems
. Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements
. Coach and monitor performance to identify gaps and recommend appropriate development
. Contribute in project financial appraisal and advice on viability
. Coordinate planning to manage working capital
. Approve payments and review bank reconciliations to ensure accuracry of underlying records and prevent loss to the company
. Leads the financial role in due diligences performed on proposed projects and acquisitions to ensure that only viable projects are selected and follow up to ensure expectations are met

Profile:

. Bachelor degree and or professional chartered accounting qualifications (ACCA or ACA Fully qualified)
. 3-5 years experience in a SME in position of Senior Finance position
. Sound understanding  of IFRS
. Chartered Accountant
. SAP or equivalent experience
