The Pastry Chef will be responsible for overseeing the Pastry Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Pastry Chef will be responsible for overseeing the Pastry Department. He will also be accountable to the quality and consistency of all pastry products produced and served.
The Pastry Chef will work directly with the Executive Chef on the creation, development and implementation of new desserts and creative menus.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years in a similar role
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Clean Certificate of Character;
• Ability to work as a team player;
• Excellent training skills;
• Fully competent in all aspects of Bakery & Pastry;
• Planning & Organising skills;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in an environment of time constraint ;
• Flexibility to be present at work for extended hours when required;
• Ability to respond and adapt to various situations and circumstances;
• Creativity.
